The process takes place over 7 days of feasting, during which time the residents are allowed and encouraged to bring delicious new food for the council to try to sway their favour. And a Halfling follows their stomach 100% of the time, so almost every family in Craggy Bottom now has a seat on the council - who is going to pass up a chance at a 7 day feast??
