The F16 is a powerful light fighter aircraft, 50 years after the first flight of the first prototype in February 1974, the F-16 celebrates its anniversary. Superior manoeuvring characteristics, electric impulse control (fly by wire) and a powerful engine are among its distinctive features.
The radar system consists of a Westinghouse APG-66 navigation and fire control radar. Due to its special aerodynamic design, the single-engine high-performance aircraft has superior flight characteristics in cornering combat and reaches a top speed of Mach 2.2 at 11000 m altitude.
