A basic matching game gets a fun surprise in the L.O.L. Surprise! Water Surprise Game. In this version of a matching and memory game, players compete to be the first to match all of the icons on their L.O.L. character cards. They do that by taking turns randomly selecting L.O.L. accessory balls, opening them up, and pressing the flat side of the ball against the moistened heart-shaped sponge in the center of the larger L.O.L. Surprise! ball. The water from the sponge will make an icon appear, and if it's one that matches what's on a player's card, she keeps it. If not, the player places the icon face down on her card's drying space so that no other player can see it, and then on her next turn, she'll close the ball back up and place it back inside the larger ball.
